mixing from cdjs to live

s the easiest way to mix from cdjs to live, just starting live and adjusting the tempo on the cd or is there a way to synch live up with the pioneer djm 600 to make this way easier. thanks

if the cdj is reading 128 bpm. assign a knob to the pitch in live. i would make it go from 127.00 to 129.00 and you just gotta ride the pitch. james zabiela shows you how to do this right here, http://www.djsounds.com/category/dj_vj_ ... la/page/2/

how do you adjust the pitch in live 5 . so i can have it range from say 128 to 130. thanks. what does everyone think of midi translators for the same process. thanks

click on the bpm in the upper left corner, then hit CTRL + M for midi. Then at the bottom you will see 2 value boxes. I think they read 60,00 on the left and 200.00 on the right. Set the left to 128.00 and the right to 130.00. And happy mixing mate.
