cant seem to get it working.
It should be pretty easy.
You need to put the top block of my script (GroupAdd... return) above all the other code.

Hi Ilia,
thanks for this script.
a problem :
nothing's happening when in session view, except when pressing shift > back to normal.
(I'm using default skin)

In arrange you say press the middle mouse button. Do you have to do something to your mouse setup? I mean what function is your middle mouse button assigned to ?
For me it does nothing. (it just changes the cursor to a magnifying glass like in any other program)

Important : how do you remove the script, where is it ? I used your installer and don't know where it is now, as it's not working I now have to press shift, and would rather not

The mousewheel script seems to have stopped working with Live 7. Ilia, care to do any troubleshooting?

worked fine for me in betas. I haven't upgraded yet so not sure what's wrong.

worked for me too on the betas. The really strange thing is that now it doesn't even work on L6. I'm wondering what could have changed.

Ok so what happens is that when I use the scroll wheel, it just selects a different track...meaning it goes up or down. It doesn't actually zoom. Any suggestions?

is this multiplatform? I mean does it work in Mac OS X?

What exactly are these live scripts? Are there more of them that add more functions?

Thanks.

Sorry, PC only. You install an application called AutoHotKey (google it) and then you can script behaviors on your PC. Our resident genius Ilia created a script that uses scroll wheel to zoom, a feature that ever other DAW has, and it blows my mind that Live doesn't yet.

on the mac, if you have a logitech revolution mouse, there is a thumb wheel which you can assign to the + - keys in the logitech driver - that works very effectively for zooming.

i assign the other buttons to tab, shift+tab, and alt+command+click (for the hand tool scrolling), and command+b to toggle draw mode.

i'd personally prefer ableton to implement the scroll wheel for tweaking on-screen knobs in the same way as in ni massive and the rob papen synths. maybe with modifier keys for zoom & scroll, then everyone's happy.
