noodley dub fx to do over a whole track

Post by The Phat Conductor » Thu Aug 02, 2007 6:14 am

i saw this awesome 1970's style dub outfit in montreal the other day and he was doing all these crazy long ass flangey delays and klanging stabs of reverb.

i've set myself up with a couple different fx sends in my template now, and i was about to finalize the setup, so i was thinking now might be a good time to ask if any of your fine folks have made any racks for this sort of thing.

i'll post my racks when the thread's done.

fun stuff!

any idea what way would be best to give the delays that oldschool klanginess? i want it to sound real chunky and analog...

those are dope. i use em in the studio, but i'm on a mac with a relatively meagre selection of paid or freeware plugins to use live.

seems like a flange, a mild autofilter lfo, and then some non-synced delays after the main one are making it pretty chunky.

still working though.

anyone else have any feedback?
