Mapping Midi CCs to Macro Controls / Midi CCs in Arran. View

Hello,

I know my way around in Live and yes, I tried the forum search for that but I can't find a solution for this:

I'm nearly only using hardware synths with Live and I want to be able to

- assign the Midi CCs of my synths to my controller's knobs

- assign the Midi CCs of my synths to Macro Controls

- edit the Midi CCs of my synths in the Arrangement View (I only found this in the Session Clip view)

PLEASE help me!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Have you tried the following: Assign MIDI CCs to the Macro controls, and make sure that Remote is ON for the Input and the Output of your MIDI port. Now, if the MIDI out is connected to your synth, the synth should receive the MIDI CC value when you move a Macro knob. Then, you can write automation in the arrangement for the Macro controls, and they should send the CC values.

I don't have the right set up to test it right now, so please forgive if I miss anything.
