hi: i'm new using ableton live 6. i'm trying to find how can i modify my voice in ableton,,i was looking for pitch effect but nothing. hoping an answer,

if you're trying to modify the pitch of the recorded voice, record the clip, open up the clip so you can see it's waveform... now you can turn the transpose knob.....


live the only thing that you can use as far as I know is the grain delay...

Grain Delay works fine as a fx pitch shifter. There are some pre made racks that do that in Live 6.

All the FX are realtime in Ableton- dig around in the Racks section and you should find something.

For 'realtime fx' you may run into problems with the latency (delay) introduced by your soundcard.

ya look around in the included effects. I like using the grain delay with an extreme chorus. Or the chorus subtley with a nice transpose.
