split an audio file

how can i divide the audio files, for example an acapella, split in several units,. so i can reorder and adjust with precision,... (in cubase theres the sissors tool, here we have something similar???)

Drag the sample over to Arrangement. Unfold the track so you can see the waveform. Select with the mouse and choose Cut from the Edit menu.

or once its on the timeline click on the bar of time in the clip you want to splice, and press ctrl + e
