Not seeing instruments under devices

Hello,

Just started experimenting with live lite 4.0. For some reason i can't 'see' any instruments under devices in the browser, only see midi effects and audio effects.
Impulse is functioning because it's being used in lesson 1 for the beats clip and is displayed in the left hand corner, but again, the instruments are not shown under devices.

Sorry if this is a typical newbie question but I have spent some time trying to suss out and not getting anywhere!

The scroll bar on the left was not right upto the top so the instrument folder was not being displayed. To be honest, I didnt even notice the scroll bar below the file icons until just now
