Ableton LE has distorted audio with MME driver under Vista

Under Vista,when I open Ableton LE and set MME/DirectX as the Driver Type,then select "Speakers(High Definition Audio)Wave" as Output Audio Device,there will be some dropping out in a pulsing rhythm.

And for Audigy 2,it also has the same problem.

How to resolve it?any one can help?

MME/DirectX are never a good choice

you would be better off downloading Asio4All

and for the Audigy, it will probably have ASIO drivers of its own - choose those instead

Thank you for answering.Audio work well using ASIO driver.

But under WinXP,above problem does not exist.is this a bug for Ableton LE under Vista?

Doubt it's a bug, just the way that Vista uses the drivers. Not Ableton's problem really.
