Hi I'm attempting to render a file thats around 98 minutes with around 25 audio tracks. I'm using a macbook 2gig processer, 1 gig ram, with ableton 6.0, not using a soundcard, just the built in core audio.
I've attempted to render the file several times and keep getting an error that sounds almost like a cd skipping with the sound skipping/stopping continuously around the 36:50-37:15 period in the file. The rest of the file appears to render fine.
In ableton that section (2 audio tracks) plays fine, and in my most recent attempt to render the file i clicked the ram tab on the two tracks playing during the error, but still got a skipping error.
Ableton appears to only be using around 14% of the processor.
Any idea what the issue could be, I tried to search this forum but didn't really find anything like this.

i've attempted to freeze the track in question where the error is occuring and every time i try to freeze it, right when it gets to 84% it goes back to 83% finished and crashes live.
other tracks in the project can be frozen.
i've also moved the audio on that track to a different track and tried to bounce it there.
it shouldn't be a corrupted audio file

Let's try something: if you can manage to delete all the other tracks from the set and still get the error, would make a copy of the set with that track only, pack it, and send it to me at [email protected]? The package should be no bigger than 10 Mo, so try to reduce it the most you can.

bizzare so i deleted all the other tracks, and shortened the other track to 3 minutes and it was able to bounce, however
when i bounced the whole thing again it skipped in the same spot again, and
the track above it, which i had frozen jumped ahead in time and was off beat at the exact same area around 36:50, when i tried to play it in ableton it made the same error, however when i unfroze it, the track played normally in ableton?
so 1 track cant be frozen, and another seems to freeze with an error around the same place in the project that im getting the errors.
