I was wondering if this was possible?
If so, can someone explain how?
Can Live be integrated with the Pioneer DJM 600 mixer?

Yo! I do this and it works GREAT! I have 4 separate outs from Live going to each channel on the DJM600, and have the master out on the DJM600 routed back INTO Live for recording. Adding effects to a Live mix using the mixer is piss easy.
I also have a UC-33e which I use to control effects parameters in Live.
But, yeah - the DJM600 goes GREAT with Live.
Explain your set-up a little and I'll try to sort you out.

I'm a bit of a newbie with all of this so I'll just risk the flames and come out with my less than intelligent questions.
I'm a Vinyl come CD dj who plays out at clubs etc quite a bit. Decided to take the plunge and bought a Mac with ableton, yet to be delivered. But the area I need help with is the connection side.
At home I've got Vinyl/CD's and a DJM600. What are my choices there from a connection point of view? I've got a EchoDJ card but that's going to limit me I think. I guess ultimately I want to be able to mix from CD to ableton to CD, so need a system which means I can match bmp to ableton or do I still do that by ear? I guess I'd also need a midi device to control ableton so I've got some control there when mixing.
When I take my laptop to the club I guess you can't assume what gear they'll have so I need to take my MIDI device and also connect the mac through my soundcard to one of the mixer channels? Isn't that a pain if it's all covered up.
As you can see plenty of questions, so are there any other DJ's out there who do what I want to do, and what is your setup. Even if you went to a club which had say a DJM800 would you have time to assign all the MIDI controls to ableton?
Thanks in advance for your help
