Post by rachmanoff » Wed Jul 07, 2004 12:34 am

anyone have any good ideas on how to obtain a set of Faderfoxes in the U.S. ? Are there services in Europe that will recieve packages and send them on elsewhere to you? ..I'm getting desperate. Those little bastards are so hot!

I reckon your best bet would be to get a mate in Europe to do it for you. Would mean two times the p&p, but if that's what it takes...

1 Euro = 7,4 Danish Kroner.
1 USD = 6,0 Danish Kroner.

Do your own maths from there ;)

alright, I just got off the email with the faderfox people re: weight and such, and if you ask nicely and send me all the money in advance (in some way), I can get it to you in the US for ca. 25€ on top of the 179€ + 19€ it'll cost to get it to me in Denmark. Other people in different countries might be able to give a better price, but that's what a 1 kilogramme parcel from Denmark to the US costs (and with a bit of luck we'll be able to fit two faderfoxes in a 1 kg parcel)... I am not going to rip you off, but I'm broke as fuck so I can't just buy it for you and then send it.

PM or email and we'll work something out if you're still interested.

got a question, does anybody know if the faderfox fader, is ln feeling, like
an audio mixer fader, or like a dj mixer fader?, I'm talking about the cross
fader for the modul 1 for live. I understand that it is set up to be positioned as a crossfader but what about the actual feel. Does it have different crossfader curves for cutting, and is it smooth? thanks for any help in regards to this.

group purchase for states?

I've got an email to a friend in Germany about shipping a couple of units to me here in Central Florida, so if anyone else might want one, email me and I'll pass on the info as to how much one or two of them would cost. If there is enough interest, then maybe we could get a group discount price from them?
They look good enough that I'm going to buy two ( one each) myself.

Jim :)
