USB Audio Interface for (AL)DJ Use

Post by Patch » Tue Jul 31, 2007 11:11 am

One for all the (AL)DJ's out there:

http://www.thomann.de/gb/esi_u46_se.htm

I have the U46DJ (Non-SE version) and it works great. This is an absolute bargain, and gives you 4 ins, and 6 outs (enough for 2 stereo outs AND stereo monitoring).

ALSO - this can be used as an interface for mixvibes/deckadance. So - buy yourself some timecode vinyl (£20-£30 for Black/Orange/White/Clear mixvibes vinyl @ thomann), pick up deckadance (v1.10 onwards) and you can scratch away USING YOUR OWN SOUNDS...

So you can create a track in Live, then scratch the fuck out of it...

Nope - but I'm sure Thomann will ship to the US.

Cool.

Roughly how big is it? I'm having a little trouble telling from Thomann's image (which I realise isn't quite the same model that you've got) and I can't find any dimensions online. I'm guessing about 15cm (6") wide x 10cm (4") deep x 4.5 cm (1.75") high. Is that about right?

Spot on - I'd imagine you could add on 4cm to each end to get the size of the SE model.
