hmm...i dont mean to sound snobby or anything but...isnt everything a rip off of something? i mean combining instruments o create new sounds and have knobs and such isnt the most revolutionary idé ever thought of...

what i mean is that the only thing with Live that is "unique" is the clips feature...and thats more or less a grate way of doing what Ejay did....the thing is that live does most things grate....and thats the thing with Reason to....nothing is original (original as in never been done before) but i think the propps do it well....like blizzard, nothing thats never been done but damn it they do it better than any one else...

people need to stop being so stupid because you can rip something off blatantly. think of how vista decided to do their side dock kind of like apple's.

Was just about to say ...
The Enlightment Desktop Environment and some others for *nix OSes, had "docks" tucked liked that for a long, long time before Apple did.

Same thing with multiple desktops too ... geez, they throw around the word "revolutionary" like if it was gunpowder or something ...
ok, vent off. see ya :P

ontopic:
"Having the best sounding synth on earth is a lot more fun if you have a set of great patches to play with. We invited some of the world's leading synthesists and sound developers to add their own Thor patches to the Reason Sound Bank."

are they calling Thor the worlds best sounding synth?
big words.

It'll hopefully will be. If the are able to keep the cpu down and still sound like the demos does then it's an instant buy for me.
