live 6 shut off while working on a beat

So I'm working on a beat. Not too many tracks. One track for the kick, one for snare,and two midi tracks with sounds from the instrument rack. And when I go to eq one of the drum tracks it just shuts down no warning or nothing. Then start it up again, play a midi part and then mess with the parameters and same thing shuts off! So I say ok let me restart my computer. Start messing with the midi track again and it shuts off. What the hell could be causing this!!!
