How do I keep midi note triggers from selecting its track?

Post by MParnell » Fri Aug 17, 2007 4:20 pm

When I have my midi drum kit triggering the sound from impulse it selects the track.

I want to be able to deactivate that so I can work on another track while still triggering the sounds from impulse.

Any ideas?

Could you describe your problem in more detail?

Are you triggering MIDI-mapped clips?

there is a 'select on launch' setting in preferences,

but what you describe does not seem like correct behavior for just playing MIDI notes into a track's input

My problem happens actually when give an audio clip a midi trigger assignment.
I will check the preferences for the setting listed above, this sounds like what I'm looking for.
Thanks
