Any file that is a .exe is Pee-Cee only.

There is no port of autohotkey to Mac. Even if there was the scripts themselves would have to be ported too (different keyboard shortcuts).

Your best bet would be to find a Mac program with similar functionality to autohotkey and rewrite the scripts in that using the autohotkey version as a guide.

or cross your fingers that the Cycling'74/Ableton colaboration ends up with some form of API with which to tickle the internals of Ableton (in Max or whatever).

you'd probably need to learn how to script with applescript, and learn if the things you wanted to script within Live were scriptable with it

Ablteon LIVE is not scriptable :(
I wish it was...

for sending mouse-events via CC to Live, you can use midimouse (Mac OS X)
http://www.audiocommander.de/blog/?p=10

midimouse 0.5b has scrollWheel support, too (X and Y! -> MightyMouse), but I haven't found the time to release yet. If you need it, add a comment at the audiocommander blog page, I may send you a beta or pre-release a test version.

Michael

HERE is the project about Lives scripting capabilities with the LiveAPI (Application Programming Interface) using Python code.

and

HERE is the LiveForum thread about it.

not exactly sure what you want to use scripting for... if it's to do that mouse scroll wheel changing thing, I have no idea how to do it.

But you could just use midistroke + live' keyboard shortcuts + keyboard mappings to create a lot of custom midi actions.

and spend $0

I just posted about some ways you can use iKey (OSX, $30) to control Live. There's a link to a vid i made in this post: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=74848

The API seems like the holy grail, but while were waiting for that I hope this is helpful.
