What is the difference between Ableton 6 & the Educational version?
Apparently since I am a student I can get discount. Does this mean I get the full Ableton 6 but for cheaper or does it mean I can only buy the Educational version?
Also, do I have to specify whether I want it in PC or Mac format? Or does it come compatible for both? If so does that mean I can install it on both my Mac and my PC or are you limited as to how many machines you can install it on?

The educational version is the same as the full version at half the price... lucky you!
Live 6 is now universal so you dont have to tell them what platform you will be using!
Each license of live lets you install the program in 2 computers provided you use it one at a time!

One thing I dont get abouy the educational version. Is can you upgrade your educational version of 6 to Live 7 when it comes out.
I bought the edu version of 6 during my last few months of studenthood. If I want Live 7 as Im no longer a student do I have to re buy the whole prog again or do I just pay the regulare upgrade price.
