Just what exactly is this supposed to do?
I assumed it might do something sensible like copy all the referenced files into the directory containing the project file so you can easily zip it all up, or perhaps even embed all the referenced files in the project file.
It seems to do neither.
Just in case this is a bug - 6.0.9 on a PC.
Nothing to see here - move along!

Hi,
Make sure you first save your set in a location that is not already an Ableton Project. The Library itself is a Project. To try, save your set to the desktop: Live should create a Project folder for it. The choose 'Collect all and save' and all references files should be saved in that project folder.
Also, using the file manager, you can later on use the 'packing' tool that is much more efficient than zipping, compression-wise. That will make an 'Ableton pack' (.alp)

Aha - that could be it - my projects folder is within the library folder hierachy - cheers for that.
The project was in its own folder inside that hierarchy.
Will try it later - ta

yeah, i had an issue with the collect all and save too....it didnt seem to do anything but just save of a 2.5 mb live file...
then i did a collect all and save to my flash drive and it worked fine....so yeah what they said above.
