i.e. "i downloaded them but I can't find where there are in Live? I am on a Mac, using Live 6".

or "what do these plugins do?"

and you won´t find them, because they are for PC only

Sorry...
I should have given more information.
I have a PC not a Mac.
I have a folder that they are all in...but it doesn't recognize them as plugins. So it won't let me open them...

and you already tried to select that folder you are refering to
in live´s preferences/ File & Folders/ Select Your own VST Folder ?

If that is so, and already not working, i have no idea,
though it seems strange to me.

When you say VST folder...Do you mean that there is a special type of folder that you hold VST's in...or do you just mean a regular folder that my VST's are in.

Because I have a folder located in the Albeton folder that is just a normal folder.

(I hope that made sense)

When you downloaded these plugins did you extract the files with something like Winrar to your vst folder?
Live 7.0.16, core 2 Quad 2.66ghz 4 gb ram,ESI U46SE,Vestax VCM-600, M-Audio Axiom 25,
evolution249c,Maudio Xpression pro, various guitars,Akai mpd16, NI intact,YamahaMSP3's,zoom323, a Ukulele and a Crate of Stella.

dorsch gave you the quick guide on what to do.

The manual has a more in-depth guide on how to get Live to recognize your VSTs.

Also, VSTs do not show up alongside Live's plugins (again, consult manual on using VSTs, there's a whole chapter on it). You have to select the next tab below Live's plugins to see the contents of the VSTs folder (assuming you set it up like dosch told you to)

Yeah...I extracted the files.

But thanks for all the help.
I'll check the manual again.
