I love it :)

I want the "BOX" version, that how I always buy.

I thought! Ah! What the heck! I'll buy it and if I get to 18 tracks and after using freeze feature and the CPU struggles too much *cough* cough* then I can always upgrade my computer soon after :)

precisely.

do you have a shelf in your studio with loads of boxes on it?

i do.

I look at it and think - i own them.
Almost like trophies hahaha Yeah! I've done that, but eventually I'll store them somewhere else so I can focus more on recordings.

I try to keep everything in good condition.

Memory is cheap! I'll upgrade to 2.Gig Ram

Hmm I suppose in the near future I may have to get a Intel Core.2 Duo CPU and good Motherboard for approximately $400.(USD)
you have to be joking what a rip off

i just got my friends computer upgraded, a new motherboard + RAM + cpu cost him about $130 USD....
dude... not to be rude but there's no fucking way. i know because i'm in the shopping phase putting together a custom built pc. hardware is getting cheap, but not that cheap. either that or your friend's computer must have been really really old

i don't mean to just reply and talk shit - but you gotta elaborate on that

Sweetjesus I clearly see a Core.2.duo E4500 2.2.GHz at MSY selling for $535.(AUD, Aussie Dollars) check it out...

http://msy.com.au/SYSTEMS/P1.pdf

That exact same Core.2.duo E4500 2.2.GHz is much, much, much, much, much cheaper: $154.99.(USA Dollars) at Tiger.Direct, have a look....

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... -DUO-E4500

Now to be fair let's also consider the $$ currency conversion rate of 1 USD = 1.21624 AUD, from USA to Aust' Dollars, now let's have a closer look...

Hmm that will bring the cost to: $188.504 (AUD) That's a lot cheaper compared to $535. Aussie Dollars at MSY computers.

http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi

Now even if MSY was to have a deal on bundled Motherboards with CPU and memory it would exquate to being a LOT more expensive compared to retailers such as: tigerdirect.com and newegg.com

In fact Tiger Direct and New Egg are so much cheaper you could start your own business in Australia, buy all your parts from tigerdirect.com or newegg.com then sell them in Australia and still make a HUGE profit
