Live Can't record or handle short midi note durations in OVERDUB, exporting, sending to other tracks, & i'm sure many other things.
I'm recording the midi output of a D5 drum brain & playing triggers live. The note durations on this are tiny. I'm sure other Drum brains & macheines are the same way. I can probably reproduce this on a normal keyboard if i press fast enough.
It's able to record them on a track or new clip. Just not in OVR mode. I found this out but wanting to make blank clips and overdub drum loops live.
Am i the only one that has noticed this?
I found this bug a few months ago. I now have sometime to troubleshoot this.
I zipped a little example project so you can check it out. Try to export the clip as midi and let me know if it worked for you. http://www.rhythminmind.net/temp/Random ... roject.zip
And if anyone has other drum brains or machines I would love to see how long the note durations are for them.
