Hi there!
I want to perform a track I produced in Logic with Live.
I cut all the loops and everything worked fine except the vocal track. I want to play this wave but Live recognizes a wrong tempo. So the vocal is not in time although it is the same tempo as in Logic. I recognized that sometimes a word is doubled or the first syllabel is missing. I think this is the result of granular synthesis. Is it possible that Live plays the vocal without touching the timing?
Thanx.

i think this might solve your troubles (if i understand your question).
double click the vocal clip to bring up the clip parameter veiw. just to the left of the waveform is a box in the warp section called 'transients'. set this to 1/32. you may want to futz with the ':2 *2' setting if the clip didn't import at the right length. these setting are there to make sure that the type of clip that you're importing (drum, synth pad, vocal) is streched using the optimum algorithm to retain the most similarity to the origional sound. this also goes the other way and can be used 'wrong' in order to get great effects.
hope that helps.
