Ableton not recording Midi from Battery (yes track is armed)

Hey,

I am trying to record single hits from battery into ableton. I have put it in the midi track, armed the track, it is getting sound levels when i hit battery and i have put it on record.

So why isnt it recording? It seems as though everything is working fine as Ableon responds with levels when i hit a pad in Battery.. When i go to the Midi clip though it shows nothing as though nothing has been recorded.
