I want to be able to save and recall my effect setting as clips in my audio busses.
Is this possible?
If not what kind of alternatives do I have for saving and recalling my settings when playing Live, live?

Can I save my FX snap shots as Clips some how????
check out dummy clips in the sticky at the top of this forum.
basically a dummy clip is a clip with no audio information in it, there's just envelopes to control FX, you trigger the clip, it tweaks/sets your FX.
if you want to SAVE something, just drag and drop it into the Live browser, works for most anything. if it's a bunch of Live's effects, select them all, right click and hit 'group' or 'turn to rack' (the verbage changed in Live 6) then you can save that rack off with the SAVE icon or dragging and dropping it off somewhere.
