Ok, good idea! I'll check your stuff tonight.

You can check mine here:

These are all done in Live on a Mac. Too many plugins to name, some guitar and field recordings as well.

Ok, I listened to One Day, Morning Eve and Always Something. These are very nice , very chill tracks. I'd love to hear you guys do something a little more trippy/crazy, but you've obviously found your groove - good stuff!

Thanks for the compliment. We are pretty melodic as you can tell, but some of our newer tracks have more of an upbeat feel. It's funny when we play out especailly after groups who crank 4/4 techno stuf,f people get this glazed look and satrt listening. It's soo funny.

I've had a listen to a few of the tracks by each of you who have posted so far, and i must say i'm really impressed :D
My favourites from each of you in no particular order...

Tarekith - Dark Skies. I like the guitars a lot and i love the production.

Polyslax - Peyote. Love the sound of the drums on this. Reminds me a bit of taking to much acid and going to see Ozric Tentacles in my youth ;)

Zurikiser - Morning Eve. Absolutely beautiful track. Perfect for chilling in the early hours.

Bonnaventure - 1572. Very cool. Made me feel quite uneasy, which is a very good thing!

Thanks to you all for sharing.

Be Good.
Neil.

409 views, 9 replies. It seems many on this forum want to be heard but
relatively few want to listen and comment..... oh well

Hi Folks ...

Just noticed this thread ...

New to Ableton ... but from my little musicla knowledge, I realise my own stuff is kind of IDM influenced e.g. Ulrich Schnauss, with Drum n Bass, some breakbeats, ambient and some other influences thrown in.

Have posted a couple of live mixes with a kind of ambient\IDM feel.

Interested to see what you think.

Thanks
Richard (aka craftycurate)

True that! I rarely hit this forum any more because there are very few listeners, or at least few who comment. There are other spots out there - lots of people knock kvr, but I tell you what, they have a solid crew of knowledgeable listeners at their cafe.

I'll be a masochist and throw some more trax up here today. :)

Thanks for your previous comment btw! I'll check some of your stuff and post back, hopefully tonight.

lovin this thread! I have been enjoying everyone's music thoroughly.

I have been extremely productive over the past two months mainly making music to study to. My chill stuff helps me do homework, so I keep writing in this style! The first 13 or 14 tracks were done over the past two months.

enjoy!
