hmmm........(scratches head and thinks)....
This could be about Live, given the lack of an official Abe statement after L7 didn't premiere on 07/07/07. There is something suspicious to this- each year we expect a new version to be announced, usually around summer NAMM. It's nearly September, and the only news is of a watered down version of Live-LE.
Then again, what about a 6.3, or a 6.5? why jump to 7?

who ever it is, they are idiots for not backing up. at work i have back ups, then back ups for those back ups then back up back ups for the back ups.
and i am happy with live 6, sure 7 would be cool but what is the rush?
oh shit, a big list of things live needs with a slicer somewhere at the top of that list coming in 10,9,8,7,6,5,,,

what a joke
very unlikely that ALL developers lost their working copies of the source code at the SAME time (if the 'main' backup got lost)
this is 'heisse luft' as we say here...
why are you writing stuff like this???

because the world revolves around gossip... reality is too boring.sarrass wrote:very unlikely that ALL developers lost their working copies of the source code at the SAME time (if the 'main' backup got lost)

07/14/2006 live 6 announced
Live 5 debuted at summer NAMM in 2005
Live 4 released at summer NAMM in 2004
Live 3... was that winter NAMM in 2003? Maybe that's what will happen w/ L7..this winter.

No, that's done (I was a tester). The final release version was shipped to the factory to be pressed last week, so should be in the shops early September.bensuthers wrote:reason.
Could be Live 7 CM are talking about. But other top candidates could be Sonar 7 or Logic 8.
