I lost all my operator, simpler, impluse and audio effects

I lost all my operator, simpler, impluse and audio effect files.
When i drop down the live devices folder all the names are there but no files appear when you select them ?

Hi,

You've probably set a wrong path for the Library, by accident. You can set the path of the Library (that's where all the presets are) in the Preferences, File/Folder tab. The default path for the Library is:

PC: C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Ableton\Library
Mac: user homefolder/library/application support/ableton/library

I somehow lost my audio effects after installing 6.0.9.
Reinstallation did not seem to have any effect.
However, re-running the Basics pack restored all of the presets a treat.

i dont know what i ve done. im more worries about a couple of songs ive lost as well. I cant find them using the file name in windows 'search'. v pissed. any suggestions?

The same thing happened to me, but only on one computer (iMac). On my Macbook, the update installation left the presets intact. Weird...
