I'm using ableton 5.2 which came with my Remote LE. However I found a strange problem. When I set the master tempo to say 125 bpm, the output is always something like 115 bpm instead.
I'm using a Mac Book Pro, with Remote LE and Motu Ultralite.
Any help appreciated.

This problem is strange ... I now find out that this happens whenever I start garageband with ableton, for some reason it slows down the tempo ... this will hang around until I close down garageband and restart ableton.
Any clues?

48000/44100 ≈ 125/115, which means it could be some problem with the sampling rate. Does the music key change by something between a half note and a whole note, too?

I don't think I can change the sampling rate in garageband, so I will try to change the sampling rate in Ableton tonight when I get home and see what happens. Are there any side effects when changing this setting in Ableton?
Thanks!

The side effect is that everything you record in Live is recorded with the sampling rate it runs in. This means if you set Live to 48000, record something and render with 44100 afterwards theres a slight quality loss.
