yeah so i hear, i think i was one of the first (and by the sounds of it there haven't been many others here in the UK) to get one. as i've found out, it's not always a good thing!

i really haven't had a proper sit down with it yet and tbh it's a little daunting!! i can give you first impressions.

it lights up like a christmas tree when you start it. actually that's all i've done on it so far, start it up, shut it down, start it up... back to the topic..

it's quite wide, much wider than my A&H, feels much more like a mixing desk. there are sooooo many knobs on it, can be disorientating./

the faders are v loose, and the knobs as well don't really have that solid feel like say a DJM 800.

i still use tt's and a cdj so i've got those plugged in as well as ableton. you can use it as audio, audio and midi and just midi.... if you use it as solely midi you lose the audio effects on the channle (derr you might say). but i spose you can reroute the midi back into audio and then the korg.

that's about it really - pretty pi55 poor, but tbh just don't really know where to start on it. it's a matter of me trying to sit down and trying to nut it out.

i'll keep you updated when (read "if") i make any progress

Had a dink around with one in a shop the other day, certainly mega-possibilities for the creative mind. Knobs were slightly plastic-ier than I expected for the price and thought the kaoss pad placement right above the crossfader was asking for trouble. Sound-wise some fairly broadly useful fx as well as some freaky stuff, kaoss pad only works on chan. fx, not master u(or was it the other way round?) and the variety of eqs certainly spanned a wide range. Thinking about it again you could def. do some mad damage with this in the right audio/midi control setup, like I said though, not sure how well it'd fare on a long, sweaty tour. Nice A&H faders, pretty soft though as someone else mentioned. Guess I'll just have to go back and play some more > I didn't have raging g.a.s. when I left the shop though if that counts for anything.
