I try The pHATmatik PRO Demo, But when I try to drag the Audio file to Live tracks, It ask me to save the file , I saw a video on iZotope website, but they were using logic, and the drag an drop onto tracks. How can I do this in Live 6.

it might not be possible, but try creating a directory on your desktop and keep that open then drag back and forth to the directory.... hope this works
for you and helps.

Phatmatik Pro is a slicer, not a step sequencer. You can drag and drop from vsts like idrum and Guru because you are importing MIDI patterns, not sound files. So what you would be dragging and dropping from Phatmatik would be a piece of sliced audio file, not sure if that is what you want to do.

in the tutorial , at first he exported via (alt) drag and drop the unprocessed audio slice's, made in phatmatik.
the filter and all other stuff is inside phatmatik.
he is not editing the files outside.

(edit: misunderstand something...)

i've a question, in phatmatik is everything i see done on those tutorial videos like effects siicing and changing each slices pitch pan and whatever else is all of that non-destructive to the audio, or should i be making copies of my files before i put them into phamatik, haven't got it yet but if it's got non-destructive audio editing then i'm all over it.

since this thread has slicer users in it i might as well also ask if any of you use live labs liveslice and how do you compare it to phatmatik pro, also does liveslice non-destructive audio editing as well ?

I have no idea about liveslice,, but PMP is non destructive until you drag the audio from it's GUI into what ever application is hosting it,, then it creates a copy of the original file but sliced up in the folder you set in the preferences dialogue. You can also choose to save a a phatmatic file that has similar qualities as a rex file, except it can't be read by any other applications that i am aware of.
All in all,, i love PMP,, it works very well inside Live and is great for building up layered beats using rex files or raw loops,,
