Every time I listen to Chris Cornell's Euphoria Morning, I am in disbelief at just how bloody amazing it is. Excellent production as well.

1) Daftpunk - Discovery (Still remember the first time I listened to it.. those bass drums just blew me away!)
2) Orbital - Insides
3) Dr Dre - 2001
4) Underworld - Dubnobasswithmyheadman
5) Joydivision - Les Bains douches...
all are in my opinion very defining albums in the history of popular music... all magical!!!

What's up with that?

Buckethead - The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock
That record is incredible, and it just gets better each time i listen to it. Buckethead exists in a whole other universe to the rest of us.

That album? Sea Change, by Beck. And I'm not even a Beck fan really... but that album is the quintessential work of art to me, it is perfect in every way. You can really feel the emotion in the songs, and you can appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the composition and the production.
Just thought I should give this a bump as since you introduced this album to me I have listened to it so many times and I agree it's pretty special!
thanks!

Since you bumped it, I'll add my favorite album which has been my favorite for 25 years... a top 5 list would be much harder cause this one stands above everything else for me...
