C'mon, John, you gotta at least give him props for being the best inebriated player ever. Besides, all the dirty, barefooted hippies love that drunk bastard.

Is he even still around?
I used to be a hater too but after a few months of combing beatport listening to Electronic music over, and over, and over, and over, and over I started appreciating the whole hippy jam band sound.

I once told a rabid Dave fan that he is 'emo'. She vehemently denied it. He is so emo. I stand by my point.

he's hippy death rock.
I don't like his music but after seeing him show up at soooo many festival shows I can say he genuinely likes his fans, is happy to perform and really puts everything he has into his performances. he's a much better musician and performer than most anyone who'll read this thread.
john, didn't you sell your copy of Live?

lmfao!!!
I never did get why people liked his music so much, some of his fans are nearly violent over their devotion, usually the really white bread SUV driving wannabe back to nature suburban granola crowd with the his/her Eddie Bauer/J Crew outfits.
I guess it has been 10 years... time's up Dave!!

Huey was the SHIT!! in the 4th grade... I was surprised he has a pretty interesting history of busking harmonica in India for a few years, shit like that.

I got free tickets to Farm Aid in new york the other day. i went expressly to see Neil Young. We showed up way late to avoid most of the jam-bandery, but I had to sit through a Dave Matthews performance. I seriously do not know what makes him different than any of the million or so football players who play guitar. It was painful. He also adopted this odd forced southern accent, I guess because it was farm aid.
Just awful.
