I thought Guitar Rig was pretty bad ass but good god, practically every time I changed presets it would crash Live.

If they've fixed this - I might check it out again

there's nothing new about any of them.

2 upgrades and 3 bundles of things we've already got.

workflow improvements seem like a good idea for both guitar rig and especially kontakt...

but if both are going to be buggy for ages, I think I'll rather stay with kontakt 2 and guitar rig 2 for now...

Hmm $149 to upgrade from K2. I think I'd rather save up another $50 and get Sampler.

I always had trouble with GR2. I assume I can still use my RK2 with GR3?

Hmmm....$119 for the software upgrade from 2 to 3. Has anyone examined this closely enough to see if this will be a worthwhile upgrade?

Yep, you can. In fact, I use my RK1 with it.

I think it is. You've got four new amps, some new effects, snapshots... what's not to like?
