Thats exactly what I mentioned earlier - trying to nail the parents would show the rest of the world that the poruguese police force is competent. It's ridiculous and soooo transparent of them - playing media games at the expense of the parents, meanwhile trying to retrieve any integrity they might have left.

The local press is right. You simply do not leave a child of that age alone, and if you do, then you deserve the consequences, period.
I don't know or care if the parents were the actual killers or not, they are at least guilty of negligent manslaughter.

Well I don't think that ANYONE deserves THESE consequences

But speaking as a parent I absolutely agree that it is wrong to leave children of that age alone while you go out for a meal - however close by you are.

yes very true BUT the important thing is not that they left them alone, the most important thing is to find the girl, its no use them slating the parents for leavin her alone, whats done is done, move on, find her

She's dead, or abducted. Nothing good has happened. You can hope she's alive, but honestly they probably killed her by mistake and made up a story. Either way they deserve everything they've gotten.

anyone remember the "Lindy Chamberlain" case in Australia many years ago ? She said a dingo took her baby from their tent on holidays in the desert only to be guilty of child sacrifice for some sick MFC sect, same hype , same shizer, won't be surprised if anything like this is revealed in the years to come ....
