Missing TRANSPOSE KNOB in midi clip parameter box
Here's a suggestion to make Live 4 even more user friendly:
Give the midi clip parameter box a transpose knob, the same way the audio clip parameter box is designed.
To transpose a midi clip, as it is right now, you have to go into the envelope window, chose "pitch" and then drag the line. This is far more complicated than the knob (+ numeric value) in audio clips. When arranging on-the-fly I really miss the transpose knob for midi clips.

.. or you can use the pitch efx ...

Yes, there are always workarounds to get things done. But what this thread really is about following up Lives concept of consistency.
With earlier versions Live has established itself as a software that is quick and easy to make music with, even on-the-fly. The key word is consistensy. If you can re-tune an audio clip with a knob down left on your screen you should also be able to re-tune a midi clip by dong the same thing. No matter if you can also go into the editor to move notes, move the "transpose" line in the envelope or put a pitch midi plug-in on the track (doesn't address a specific clip though)
