deleted/moved arrangement clips still playing ???

Hi,

I browsed the forum without finding any clue...

here is my problem:

when arranging a song in live 6.0.5, if I move or delete some clips THEY STILL PLAY until I save and reload the set...

this is really annoying since I am plenty in the work of arranging my songs to produce it thoses days...

anybody encountered this ?

perhap's should I upgrade 6.0.9 but 6.0.5 works great for all other stuff, and since I've got to produce my songs I don't want to have new upgraded bugs

Hello,

Sounds strange. You should definitely try the latest update, which is 6.0.10.

Does your problem happen with any set you start from scratch?

hey, thanks for quick answer!

I know I have this problem with a big set containing 16 chained midi arrangements over 14 impulse/audio tracks and 6 external midi tracks approx. (set during about 90minutes), on which I work since feb 2007, with lots of additives, corrections, changes, etc.

I will try with a set from scratch, and feedback.

I know I should try an upgrade.. but I saw people having probs on mac with 6.0.10...

I can perhap's install 6.0.9 tonite.

Hello,

I did upgrade to 6.0.10,

but the same problem occurs... when I move a clip in the arrangement it still plays at the place where it originally was... till I save and reload the set...

I did not try with a set from scratch yet, but tonight.

any Idea ???

Hi amaury,

I try a set from scratch tonight, if the same problem appears... that will mean that this is not the set but a software (live, mac os X...) or hardware bug (could this be a ram prob?)

If not I can yes upload my liveset somewhere and give you the link, I think it is better with the samples, since you won't hear anything without them..?

You probably have stuff recorded in arrange or session view that's getting started at the same time. If there's a red icon at the top of the screen (in the middle) click it and your problem will probably go away.

hey, thanks for trying to help,

but no, I'm into arrangement work and for sure the "return to arrangement" button is'nt red since I'm recording precisely automated songs in the aim to produce them...

this is obvious:

I select an entire passage (all tracks on 16 bars i.e.), delete this selection, and then when hitting the play button on this new silence zone (NO CLIP ON NO TRACK), then I hear what I deleted...

same if I move the clips instead of deleting them...

Same bug with a set from scratch.

Same for audio AND midi clips...

sometimes the thing seems to "refresh" and the "bug" disappears without having to save and reload the set... sometimes it "refreshes" only on certain parts, not all... ... ...

NOBODY WITH THIS STRANGE BUG ???? ????
