Saving my recorded loop (MIDI+AUDIO) as an AUDIO LOOP
Once I have a loop recorded in Live6 can I save this loop ( comprised of MIDI + AUDIO tracks ) as an audio loop in either MP3 or WAV format ? And will it sound 'just as good' as the ALS tracks ?
yeah, .wav and .mp3 will not store MIDI (notes) along side audio.
But, if you mean you have a loop that is made from some audio tracks, and some MIDI tracks that have VSTis (or Live's instruments) on them to convert the MIDI to audio, then YES, you can mix all this audio data down to a single stereo .wav or .mp3
.wav's and .mp3's don't normally loop on their own, I'm not sure what you mean by "audio loop" in particular. But theres no reason someone can't download your .wav and loop it.
.wav will sound just as good as your ALS track (as long as you aren't running in the red)
.mp3 will be nearly as good (but 1/10th the size of the .wav)
