If I have 2 laptops, both running live, is it possible to sync them?
If so, how is the best way to go about it?
Many Thanks in advance

Linking two comuters running live
connect both with a midi cable
there are some apps that allow midi transfer over LAN like
- http://midi-over-lan.qarchive.org/
advantage is you can connect wireless this way and you don't need midi interfaces ... don't know if performance is better/worse than midi cables though

One must be generating the clock signal, the other must be set to receive. So, one commuter must have Sync set to On in Live's MIDI preferences for it's MIDI output device. The other commuter must be set to receive Sync on it's MIDI input channel, and you must click the button in Live that says EXT to turn on external sync....also very important is that the slave commuter must be running when you hit EXT for it to work.
