How do you prelisten yourself without recording in session?

Post by Taiis » Thu Sep 27, 2007 7:29 am

Yeah, nice and cryptic title.

What I want to do is listen to a sequenced loop in session view, right.. I fire the little clip... and I listen to it loop. The track is armed and I can record fine... but I don't want to record. I want to just listen to myself play untill I get it right.

I know I can do this in arrangement view fairly easily, but I like working in session view.

I could route midi from a different track into it, but that just seems a little killing towards my endless creativity space thing... yeah...

When you play a clip you cannot use the same track to play along.
Add a MIDI track, monitor in and go.

- Enjoy
