BUG : Midi outputed by Vsts remapped to channel 1

I'm using bidule, and all its outgoing midi messages are remapped by Live to channel1, this is VERY annoying.

Any chance for a fix soon ?

Yes this is true! I'm not sure if this is just a general VST thing or just a Live Bug. What you could do is inside Bidule use a vritual midi cable to output midi on... then have that input from that cable as the input to your midi track. That should work with multiple midi channels. You'll have to have a track for each midi channel and this will be remapped to channel 1 when going into the VST which is a bit annoying.

Or even better.. just bypass Live's midi routing altogether and use virtual midi cables to patch together copies of Bidule Vst hosting the VST that you want to control!

yeah i thought about doing this, but the loopback this is really annoying.

And this is defintely a Live thing, i've used other hosts that deal with this just fine

This is an annoying problem that I think I am also experiencing.

EG.

When inputing to live with channel 16 only live changes/remaps the control inputs to channel 1.

I believe this is the same problem as mentioned in the above posts?

Looking forward to a fix.

@ Earwax: I think your right in that this is a LIVE issue ans NOT a VST thing!
