Fast Track Pro and Ableton

Post by Zade » Wed Oct 03, 2007 5:17 pm

Ive just bought the M-AUDIO FAST TRACK PRO and am trying to get it rolling with ableton live. what ive done so far:

1 IVE GOT THE FAST TRACK CONNECTED BY USB AND RUNNING 2 MY VESTAX MIXER BY PHONO.

2 GOT MY HEADPHONES PLUGGED INTO THE HEADPHONE PORT ON THE FAST TRACK PRO.

3 CHECK THE A/B CUE BUTTON ON THE FAST TRACK BUT STILL NOTHING ON THE B SIDE OF THINGS, CAN HEAD THE TUNE THATS PLAYING OUT FINE IN MY HEADPHONES.

All i want is to be able to cue up a track in my headphones while im listening to another track. This cant be hard :(

don't run the audio interface into the mixer through a phono input - I mean, you will probably hear it, but it's not the right gain structure

The fast track's gotta have two sets of audio outputs.

Then set one as the master output in LIve, and the other set as the cue output in Live.
