Live 6.0.10 & Reaktor VST... Computer Keyboard Broken !BUG!

Post by Comfy » Thu Oct 04, 2007 5:23 pm

Hi,

Ive just installed Live 6.0.10, and loaded up Reaktor VST and now the computer keyboard does not respond when trying to change min/max values of knobs, or renaming of parameters in Reaktor. Basically Live has stolen all the keyboard controlls from Reaktor.

For instance I load reaktor, within reaktor I would double click on a knob to bring up its parameters, it brings up its min/max values and a whole load of other data in reaktors properties window. Now Before (Live 6.0.9 and previous) I could click on one of the values in the properties window and edit/change with the computer keyboard.

This now doesnt work...the computer keyboard has no effect! I cannot even change the names of snapshots!!!

Anyone confirm this????

Matt

Just to add...

The Reaktor VST window is in focus, but computer keyboard commands are going straight to LIVE which wasnt the case in LIVE 6.0.9 or prevoius.

This is on windows XP

Yes, the same behavior here.
However, I have Live 6.0.9 and 6.0.10 installed on the same machine (Windows PC), so I can use Live 6.0.9 whenever I need Reaktor 5.12 keyboard input, as this version of Live is still showing the old (rightful) functionality.

Thanks dude... yeah I have both installed in my machine.. I still use 6.0.9 rather than 6.0.10..

I just dont want this to happen in the future and just hope this was just something which was overlooked in live 6.0.10
