Darkness Ensues has a kind of Black Metal vibe with the guitars. Having a listen to the others now.

all music i ever do will probably have a bit of black metal in it somewhere, love the black metal ^^

Yeah seemed quite alright to me.
The only black metal I really loved was Emperor, havent listend to them for ages though - must find where I put the cds.

I've only heard two Borgir tracks. One was amazing with orchestral beauty and thrashing, crashing guitars! The other was rubbish and was a very early track i think.
I once read a magazine article about american "black metal". Today is the Day were lumped in there. Love that band, but never thought of them as such.
