I wasn't really sure where the most appropriate place to ask for help was so I hope here is OK
Basically I have figured out after much pushing that Ableton does not support sysex transfers ( BOOOO!! ).
I am currently trying to transfer sysex files using MIDI-OX to Ableton Live using MIDI YOKE for the midi wiring. I really want to be able to convert the stack of K-Station and X-Station presets I have downloaded from the Novation website into V-Station banks.
SO, a) has anyone successfully done this in any way with Live <= 6.0.10?
If not has anyone got any suggestions about a small VST wrapper that is free that would allow me to load V-Station ( as it does not have its own stand alone mode ) and pass it the sysex dump from MIDI-OX?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And you can also count this as a bug request for Ableton supporting sysex. It should.
