Default Midi Loop Length

Hi everybody, this is my first post!

Is there a way to change the default length of the midi loop to more then one bar, or do I have to adjust the tracks individually as I create them?

what I generally do if I am recording a MIDI clip live is click on one of the circles in an empty clip slot in the armed track and it doesn't set the clip length until I hit stop. If I play for 8 bars then it is going to record for 8 bars or probably a little longer between the time you stop playing and the time you hit stop. I then go to the loop length setting in the clip properties and set it accordingly.
