Do I needing to muti track for greatest trance recording?

Hello,

I am in the process for making the greatest trance recording. Do I needing to multitrack more than one part at the single time? Does it get confusing if there is more than one part in the trance song? Right now I have the kick drum and screaming on the first MIDI. How can I getting more parts (like wood block) on more track? can making the track bigger mean puttig more parts on it.

should i make more screaming on other tracks? i think she might be tired and in pain.

what if i compressing the track with the screaming as a .zip file? will that make more room for the bass drum thumping loudly?

How many monitors are you using? If you want to multitrack the screaming MIDI lady and wood blocks, you could use .zippy files on all the new tracks but put them on separate monitors in order to make sure there is no bleed through. That is a big hurdle when mulitracksing! Bleeding! You have to avoid the bleeding. Use a bigger monitor for the track that has the thumping bass on it.

Come on guys, more suggestions! I surely must be missing some key points!

Yes I agree, the bleeding is probably causing the screaming. Try the new Arrange View.

yes u need multitrack.

But don't worry. Now The good newws! You only need 2 tracks, them don't confuse. One for the bass drum. and then another for everything else. Sounds are going to get crowded on the second track, especialy if the screaming is loud like a pain. But if you use .zip file to compress, it shoulld all fit in teh track without leakeage.

Just be carefull 2 make sure thump bass drum track is smaple accurate!

^ according to this strategy, you'll have to make sure the zip compressor has sidechain, so that the bass kicks right through the other "everything" track

Hmmm, hopefully he has a copy of L7 beta so that he can use the side chain .zip compressor. Although we know what happens when that EvilEvil starts sidechaining!! Mayhem and chaos! I'm very excited for this new track. How many wood block tracks will you compress down? That 2nd everything track will be teh bomb if you zip it all correctedly.

Meh....I prefer his earlier edgier outputs when using multi-lemured racks and black keys...now its all about multitracking and wood blocks. :sigh:

Unless you're ears are educated, it is better to use many single tracks instead of one big multitracks. It will end up warmer with less zipper noises. Live7 avoids this at all costs, also. And, Vintage Warmer 2.
