I'm not sure this is even possible with the rudimentary Edirol UA-25 Soundcard, but...
I can get it to record a mic to ableton, but I can't simultaneously use the edirol as my playback soundcard to send a signal to the speakers I have connected to it.
If this isn't possible with the Edirol, then what do I need?
I've written a midi based loop in ableton and I want to be able to hear it while I record a mic over the top.
On the Edirol there is a playback/record button, but I want to do both.
Please help!
