[ot]living in belgium...
If you have a job or sufficient funds to live... There are no obstacles as far as I can tell. You can get by with knowing a bit of the language. Dutch is fairly easy to pick up and it actually sounds kinda classy with an american accent.smutek wrote:Ok, more about Belgium please.
Particularly what the obstacles would be for an american graphic artist, his photographer wife, and their 6 animals to make the move permanently.
Request political asylum perhaps?
We got people migrating here from North-Africa. I doubt it'll be an issue if you're from North-America.
Having 6 dogs may be the problematic part. Let alone finding a place with a big enough yard, how the hell do you get em here in one trip?
That'll be a fun flight. 14-ish hours of going barking mad

Good stuff!
sprinkle a little bit of Old Bay on that mess, uyummm.
but, back to Belgium, despite Macrostructure's offhand swipe it seems like it could be a pretty cool experience. Any place that spawned a band like K's Choice must have something going right.
