sessions won't open! WTF?

Post by Smellhound » Sun Oct 14, 2007 6:22 pm

I was working on 2 session files within the same project folder last night and they were both working fine. Now neither will open. If I try opening with live already running, it loads for a few seconds, then crashes and disappears. If I try to open directly from the file, live starts up, but then the same thing happens. Has anyone experienced this? I don't see how both .als files could be corrupt out of nowhere.

I had this problem once when I used a native waves demo in the song, after the demo expired the set crashed upon opening.

not saying thats what your problem is but I would say that you could try pulling it individual tracks into an empty song to figure out which one may be the "tainted" one. thats what I did.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

i had same crashing poblem when i updated to 6.0.10. went back to using 6.0.7 and could load the sets fine, the sets had reaktor in so i'm assuming it was that or another plug-in.

seeing as you dont mention recently changing version i'd imagine its nothing like this, so i cant really help.

sorry for my stupid humor that was a devil inside of me, try to take some vst/aus out of your plug-in folder, maybe it'll help to locate the problem
