We were talking at work one day about this, (construction is all about musicians, most of the guys at least play guitar).........

What if you started a cover band and only covered the worst songs ever made?
Of course the name of the band would have to be Endurance Test with umlauts over some letter that wouldn't normally have them.

The best part, and it's already played out in this thread! is that EVERYONE likes at least one absolutely horrible song that never should have been written! So most people when they saw you at a club would be laughing and 'getting the joke', but with 12 odd songs you'll play some god awful song that they liked when they were a kid and didn't know any better.

The main problem with this would be that it would probably be wildly successful. Then you would be stuck playing in the absolute worst cover band ever.

You gotto wonder if they're still singing it at the reunion tours...

Winger...where are they now?

Last time I was in Seattle I believe Pioneer Square had about 11 of those bands playing.

Yeah you cannot beat sincerity for pure nausea. The NW has some backwoods people.

I agree, though much of the genius really depends on whether the spoof is from Berlin or Milwaukie. 8)

WTF??? That's one of the most "interesting" videos I've ever seen. Not sure if it fits into the "Idiotic" category though.

Real classy .Any idea where to get better quality dl version ? It is great AV, VJ material. (edit: found only 240x180 QT, anyone knows better dl)
Viva is a step daughter of German MTV, feature lots of trash that even MTV wont play. It is interesting that lots of Europeans proud themselves to be so superior to Americans, another stereotype- "Americans have no culture" yet spit out some of the most unbearable audio trash .
This mornings found is not so outstanding in idiocy, don't even bother to watch the whole thing, usual stereotypes used, however looking for video link, found subtitled version - the lyrical content definitely increases its idiocy values.
